The 3 Legged Thing TRAVIS tripod with AirHed Neo ball head is a lightweight tripod kit consisting of a set of 4 section travel tripod legs and a ball head that together can support a payload up to 18kg. The magnesium alloy construction and compact design makes it a perfect everyday tripod for photographers who want to remain agile while shooting.

Quick Release System

The Arca-Style quick release plate attaches to the base of your camera to secure it to the tripod for added stability but it also grants you the flexibility to easily switch to handheld shooting. The mounting plate has dual vertical and horizontal bubble levels so you can be confident that your shots are flat.

Airhed Neo Ball Head

Allowing you to make fine adjustments to your compositions the kit comes with an Airhed Neo ball head with clearly defined markings on the base to assist you to shoot perfect panoramas. A locking knob give you the ability to adjust panning friction and instantly lock the camera tilt and pan axes.

Compact & Robust Design

The kit has an innovative reverse folding design, which allows the legs to fold 180° all the way up to the head reducing the length of the tripod to a mere 45cm. Constructed from aircraft grade magnesium alloy, the tripod remains sturdy while only weighing 1.6kg making it ideal for photographers on the go.

Adjustable Centre Column

Quick variations of height are possible with the tripods unique centre column design, which when combined with the adjustable legs enables you to set the tripod up anywhere from 11cm above the ground all the way up to 165cm high.

Centre Column Custom Features

The centre column has a range of additional features, at the base of the column is a D ring that allows you to suspend extra weight for added stability if required. The head mounting plate at the top of the column features hollowed out sections that can be used to clip on additional devices while shooting. The centre column can also be inverted a full 180° in order to capture close-up macro shots.

4 Section Multi Angle Legs

The tripod’s height is adjustable in 4 sections which provides greater height flexibility and also allows the tripod to pack down small for storage. Each leg can also be set at three different angles 23°, 55°, or 80° which means you can position the camera perfectly flat even when shooting on jagged terrain.

Twisting Leg Locks

The tripod legs have rubbed coated twist-locks for an improved grip regardless of the weather conditions. Once tightened, the precisely engineered locks ensure the tripods stability, securing it into position.

Detachable Monopod

The tripod has one detachable leg that doubles as a 4-section monopod when disconnected from the kit, allowing you to shoot a variety of different styles.
