Using an L-bracket allows you to switch between landscape or portrait orientation quickly and easily. The Ellie Short from 3LT takes it a step further with a modular and adjustable design that makes it compatible with most cameras on the market.

Short Base Plate with Adjustable Extender Bars

One of the core functions of the Ellie Short is the ability to adjust the distance between the base plate and the vertical plate. This is achieved with a simple but effective design that uses two long 1/4-inch screws to adjust the width of the base plate from 80mm to 113mm, ensuring a snug fit for your camera. The base plate can also be used independently of the L-bracket and even features a slot for attaching a strap.

Two Slots for Camera Mounting Options

With two different slots for mounting your camera using a standard 1/4-inch screw, you can choose the best position based on the location of your cameras’s tripod socket. Not only that but the slot design allows you to adjust how far forward or back your camera is mounted and the rear base is sloped ensuring that you still have full access to your rear LCD screen tilting functions.

Reversible Side Plate with Cut-Out for Cables

The side plate of the Ellie has a skeleton-style design to provide access to your camera ports and plugs. A cut out in the frame allows cables to be run and the innovative symmetrical design of the bracket allows it to be removed, reversed and flipped to perfectly position the cable cut-out. The two unused 1/4-inch sockets at the top of the side plate can also be used to mount accessories.

Made from Aerospace Grade Magnesium Alloy

Boasting an aerospace grade magnesium alloy construction, the 3LT Ellie Universal Short L-Bracket is incredibly robust and built to handle the rigours of daily use with ease. Even though it’s incredibly durable the bracket only weighs in at a 89g, meaning you’ll barely notice it on your camera until you need to use it.
