25mm Focal Length

The Panasonic Lumix G25mm f1/1.7 ASPH Lens features focal length equivalent to 50mm on a Micro Four Thirds mount. The focal range delivers a perspective similar to the human eye, making it a great choice for portraits and street photography.

Fast Aperture

The lens features a fast f/1.7 aperture, very handy for shooting in low light situations. The wide aperture also creates a pleasant bokeh effect, emphasising your subject by separating the foreground from the background. The 7 blade circular aperture produces smooth out of focus areas that further help accentuate the in focus areas of your shot.

Compact and Light Weight

Despite the wide f/1.7 aperture, the lens is compact and lightweight making it a great choice for travel photographers and everyday use. The barrel length of approximately 52mm allows you to store this lens in any small compartment of your camera bag. When attached to the camera body, it does not add any significant weight, measuring a meagre 0.125kg.

High Performance Optical Design

One ultra HRI (High Refractive Index) glass element ensures that your photos and videos have edge-to-edge clarity. They are complemented by two Aspherical elements which help suppress the coma and field curvature rendering distortion free images.

High Speed AF Support

Even shooting at 240fps, the inner focus drive on the Panasonic Lumix G 25 mm f/1.7 lens keeps your subject in focus. In video mode the AF operation is virtually silent and free of lens creep. In high-speed burst mode, the high speed Autofocus ensures that photos retain their accurate focus even with the changing position of the subject.
