The easy hold grip makes handling the camera an effortless affair. The scene-auto selector chooses the best settings out of 15 pre-programmed scenes to make getting the perfect shot a breeze. Its efficient power consumption design allows it to shoot over 700 photos or record up to 3 hours and 35 minutes of video with sound on a single pair of fresh AA batteries.

16.1 Megapixel Sensor

The 16.1 Million pixels on its 1/2.3 inch CCD sensor produces photos with great detail and vivid colour. The light sensitivity of CCD sensor extends from ISO 80 to ISO 1600 pushing up the camera's imaging potential in low light situations. A built-in flash can be used to illuminate extremely dark environments, equipping you with the ability to produce bright photos even when shooting indoors.

Versatile 5x Zoom Lens

The 5x zoom lens delivers a versatile 35mm equivalent focal range of 26 to 130mm. The 26mm wide angle allows the camera to capture variety of subjects from landscapes to large family photos, while the telephoto end of the zoom is ideal for portraits and magnifying the finer details in your chosen subject.

Electronic Vibration Reduction (VR) ensures all your images are detail-rich, with excellent clarity. It also reduces blurry images when shooting in low light environments.

One-Touch HD Video Recording

For occasions where an image is not enough to tell the story, High Definition video recording can be utilized. Featuring a dedicated record button, the A10 is designed to ensure you're always ready to shoot life's most memorable moments.

A built-in stereo microphone ensures the ambience of a scene is captured faithfully. A 3.5mm stereo mini pin jack equips you with the ability to use an external microphone or lapel mic for more specific recording requirements such as interviews or commentary.

Creative Effects

The A10 also comes with six special effects and six quick effects to help push your creativity and imagination. Selective colour, Cross screen, Fish-eye, Miniature and Mirror effect are some of the more unique options available to give your photos your own personal flair.

Smart Portraits

Take amazing portraits with the skin softening effect. Using facial recognition the camera can detect faces and automatically eliminate blemishes and smooth out skin tones for a naturally flawless look.

The smile timer mode is great for portraits of babies and kids. It uses face detection technology to release the shutter only when the subject is smiling ensuring perfect candid portraits every time.

A blink proof warning system can be enabled to alert you if the subject in your photograph blinked or had their eyes closed, equipping you with the ability to retake the shot immediately.

2.7" LCD Monitor

Its 230K Dot 2.7" (6.7cm) LCD screen provides 5 step adjustable brightness for reviewing photos and videos. The screen works well in all lighting conditions, making it easy to compose photos and navigate through the camera menus with ease.

Recording Media

The Nikon A10 supports SDXC, SDHC and SD cards up to 128GB are supported for maximum convenience. 17MB of internal memory is also available, allowing you to still shoot a handful of photos if you forget to pack a memory card.
