It holds up to 2 gripped DSLRs as well as 4–6 lenses and features padded 15-inch laptop and 10-inch tablet pockets. The personal storage section has been increased to a massive 11 litre capacity, and the bag has a waist belt with a lumbar support strap to provide maximum comfort. The bag also comes with a rain cover for wet weather and supports several different carrying methods for your tripod or monopod.

Back Panel Access

The bag can be swung around the front pivoting on the waist strap, to access all your camera gear without needing to take the bag off. The back panel features an elastic strap that can be used to hold the rear flap out of the way, while the bag provides a tabletop that allows you to change lenses quickly and easily.

Multiple Accessory Sections

While the back panel of the bag is open, the mesh zip pockets in the lid can be accessed. Making them the perfect place to store your SD card wallet, microfiber cloths, and other cleaning accessories. At the top of the bag there is even a “cable attic” which can be used to store a cable bag, as well as extra batteries or lens filters.

Padded Laptop and Tablet Pocket

At the front of the bag is a dedicated padded pocket for a 15-inch laptop as well as a compartment for a 10-inch tablet that ensures that both can be stored safely and accessed quickly. A quick-access zip pocket on the top of the bag is ideal for storing a mobile phone or passports while a beanie or gloves can be stored in the pocket at the front.

Tripod Mounts on Exterior and Straps

Straps with SR buckles on the sides of the bag allow you to attach a tripod or monopod to the exterior, making it easy to carry with you on location. The front of the pack also features a dedicated tripod cup to hold the legs and a top strap to keep it securely attached.

Outdoor Equipment Storage

In addition to your photo gear and 11 litres of personal items the Backlight 36 L also has daisy chain, lash points and attachment loops that allow you to carry hiking poles, a large jacket, rope, mountain axe or climbing equipment depending on what activities you have planned. The side pockets hold large water bottles making this a perfect hiking bag as well.

Padded Waist Belt for Enhanced Carrying Comfort

Designed to allow you to comfortably carry all your gear the pack features a padded “quick fit” waist belt that is easy to adjust as well as an adjustable sternum slider for weight distribution. The back panel of the bag has an airflow channel and a large padded lumbar support, which combined with the dual density foam in the curved shoulder straps provides all-day carrying comfort.

The Mind Shift Gear Backlight 36L is constructed from 420D velocity nylon and high-density nylon with a DWR water resistant coating for all-weather protection. The bag also includes a seam sealed rain cover that can be used to protect against heavier downpours. Your equipment is protected with YKK RC Fuse zippers that have easy-to-grip pulls that ensure they can still be operated while wearing gloves.
