Fine Grain Film Developer

The Ilford ID-11 is a black & white film developer for all general film processing requirements where fine grain negatives are required without loss of emulsion speed. The developer ensures an ideal balance of fine grain, sharpness and tonal rendition, producing negatives which allow a high degree of enlargement.

Versatile Usage

ID-11 produces excellent results with all film formats and is suitable for processing when a wide range of films and film speeds have been used. The developer can be used either as stock solution or can be used diluted as 1+1 or 1+3 solutions for “one-shot” processing, allowing longer development times or for a higher degree of sharpness. Compatible with both manual and machine processing, the developer solution can process films in spiral tanks, deep tanks, dishes/trays or rotary processors. ID-11 stock developer can be re-used to process either a number of films individually or multiple films in batches.

Long Storage Life

The Ilford ID-11 Developer Powder is a Metol - Hydroquinone borax type developer, supplied in an easy-to-mixtwo-pack powder systemthat makes one litre of working strength stock solution. The mixed developer provides a generous storage life when stored properly, while the unopened powder pack offers exceptional consistency in performance throughout its long shelf-life.
