World's First F/1.0 Autofocus Lens for Mirrorless Cameras
The Fujinon XF 50mm F/1.0 R WR Lens is the 35th interchangeable lens designed for Fujifilm X Series digital cameras. This incredible lens features the world’s first autofocus lens with a maximum aperture of F/1.0 and delivers an outstanding image quality by employing Fujifilm’s unparalleled colour reproduction technology. Its large-diameter design with incomparable resolving power and edge-to-edge sharpness allowing you to capture the most amazing boke effects.
Incredibly Shallow Depth of Field
The Fujinon XF 50mm F/1.0 R WR Lens employs 12 lens elements in nine groups, including two ED elements and one aspherical element delivering minimum spherical aberration. Its precisely engineered rounded diaphragm, as well as large aperture, allows you to capture images with stunning bokeh and shallow depth of field. This lens allows the photographer to capture clean portraits with edge-to-edge sharpness and nearly true-to-life quality. The lens also features exclusively focus on the subject’s eyes, making captivating close-up character studies.
Capture Images More easily in Low-light Conditions
Equipped with a bright f/1.0 maximum aperture, the lens performs incredibly well in low-light conditions allowing the user to achieve faster shutter speeds that freeze movement and keep ISO settings lower for detail-rich results. Alternatively, the photographer can combine the F/1.0 aperture with high ISO settings for incredible versatility and apply this to other scenarios like astrophotography, night photography or street photography.
Fast and Precise Low Light Autofocus
The lens features on-sensor Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), Face/ Eye Autofocus, precise and fast autofocus at shallow depths of field and a powerful DC motor. Besides, the large aperture brings more light to the sensor which makes it possible for the autofocus to operate at -7EV luminance level.
Precise Focus for Those Critical Moments
Extremely precise focusing is required to take advantage of the lens shallow depth of field and change the focus from the minimum focusing distance to infinity. As a result, the lens is equipped with a focus ring with 120 degrees of rotation and minimised focus shift which is eight times more accurate than any previous XF lenses. This makes the autofocus movements notably effortless and allows the user to focus manually without error.
Create Unique Images in the Toughest Environments
The Fujinon XF 50mm F/1.0 R WR Lens with 0.845kg weight and 10.35cm length is extremely compact and portable. Besides, it features a weather-resistant design, and it is sealed in 11 locations to protect the lens from dust and moisture, as well as being capable of use in temperatures down to -10°C (14°F).
