Fujifilm X-T5 Body

The Fujifilm X-T5 continues the lineage of previous models by introducing the most recent technological and image resolution advancements. Based on user feedback, this 40.2MP camera outperforms the 26.1MP X-T4 and X-T3.

Fujifilm positions this camera for high-end photography enthusiasts who already use Fujifilm X-T cameras where classic dial and the latest technologies are priorities. Based on the new and improved features, users will find this model suitable across any photographic application, including street, travel, documentary, portraiture and landscape.

Highest Possible Still Photographs

For previous X-T4 and X-T3 users, upgrading to this camera will provide a higher image resolution. It's all because of the BSI X-Trans CMOS 5HR Sensor that's brilliant in colour reproduction thanks to its unique filter array. Fujifilm has really upped their game for anyone looking to obtain seriously high resolution. Thanks to the impressive sensor and the magic of the Fujifilm imaging algorithm, anyone can now create 160MP images using Pixel Shift technology.

Impressive Auto Focus

On-board the smallest X-T series body, images and videos go through an impressively reliable X Processor 5 that delivers precision with every shot. Couple this with Subject Detect Autofocus, and anyone looking into this camera will be in focus when moving, thanks to the brilliant eye tracking.

Continuous Shooting and the Fastest Shutter Speed

Despite the higher Megapixels over previous models, the electronic shutter stands up to 20 frames per second and 15 fps for the mechanical shutter. Even more impressive, the newer technology provides 1/180,000 second shutter speed, making it a perfect pair with the XF 50mm 'The One' F1.0 R WR lens and any other F1.2 lenses in the range.

Movie Recording

When it comes to video, the X-T5 delivers some amazing specs. For those wanting a camera for a gimbal or handheld rig, the X-T5 will impress with 4K 30p 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording. There's also a 6.2K 30p movie recording option available.

Operation and Camera Body

Similar to the prior X-T models, the X-T5 adopts manual functioning dials that are reliable and easy to use. The camera's ergonomic design is simple, and there's been some thought put into the 3-way tilting LCD touchscreen to make it easy to use when shooting handheld in a high or low position. While on the subject of hand-holding the camera, users will be pleased to hear it's lighter than prior models, weighing in at 0.58Kg (X-T4 is 0.607Kg and X-T3 is 0.539Kg). Across the body, there are the same inputs and outputs, including the dual SD UHS-II compatible memory card slots to support fast read and write speeds for filmmaking. Last but not least is the inclusion of dust and weather-resistant sealing, allowing the camera to operate in temperatures as low as -10°C.

Fujifilm XF 16-80mm F4 R OIS WR Lens

Versatile 24-120 equiv. Focal Range

The Fujifilm XF 16-80mm F4 R OIS Lens is a great all-rounder that is well suited to journalism, street, landscapes, and casual photography. Its 35mm equivalent focal range of 24-120mm offers a 5X optical zoom range to add creative versatility to your shooting kit.

Extra-Low Dispersion Lens Element

Internally the lens uses 16 elements in 12 groups with three aspherical and one Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) element that helps to reduce distortion and spherical aberration across the entire focal range.

Constant F/4 Aperture

The 9 bladed rounded diaphragm aperture offers a constant f/4 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range, allowing you to zoom into the detail of a scene without affecting the exposure of your image.

Super EBC Anti-Reflective Coating

Fuji's proprietary Electron Beam Coating (EBC) has been applied to the entire surface of each element in the construction to help reduce ghosting and flare while improving the accurate colour reproduction for which Fujifilm is renown.

6-Stop Optical Image Stabilisation

Image quality is further bolstered with an optical image stabilisation (OIS) system that delivers an impressive 6-stop advantage to counteract camera shake. This enhances the overall sharpness and detail in all your images, allowing you to shoot with slower shutter speeds and use lower noise ISO settings without worrying about blur caused by camera shake.

Works well in Video

The amazing OIS performance is also applicable to video shooting, equipping you with the ability to capture smoother handheld scenes for your video clips.

Fast, Quiet AF Performance

The lens also uses an internal focusing AF system which works quickly and silently. Its stepping motor design is ideal for video shooters, ensuring smooth focusing transitions and minimal distraction from the lens focus.

Includes Lens Hood

The included lens hood helps add contrast to your image, further improving detail and colour reproduction. The hood also acts to protect the front element from accidental damage if the lens is bumped or dropped.

Compact, Lightweight Form Factor

Designed to complement the small form factor of Fuji's X-Series, the Fujinon XF 16-80mm f/4 R OIS lens measures just over 7.8cm long with a weight of just 0.44kg, Its construction is also dust and moisture resistant making it a great option for travel and as a choice for your travel and everyday carry.
