20 Megapixel CCD Sensor
The Power Shot SX430 IS features a 20-megapixel CCD image sensor that enables you to get sharp images of your subjects, even when zoomed in close. By utilising a 1/2.3 type sensor the SX430 IS offers an excellent balance of depth of field, better low light performance and up-close macro abilities.
Huge 45x Zoom Function
With a diverse 45x optical zoom range the camera allows you to go from shooting wide angle landscape shots to long distance portraits or sports photography with the simple flick of a button. Now you can have the ability to capture different photography styles without even changing lenses.
Digital Tele-Converter
The camera can also combine optical and digital zoom for a 90x zoom that doubles to 180x when combined with the built in digital teleconverter. This gets you closer to the action, even if your far away, so you can hone in to capture rich detailed imagery.
Optical Image Stabilisation
It’s easy to take advantage of the camera’s intelligent image stabilisation system to capture superb images with slower shutter speeds as well as smooth video footage that is still and sharp. The built -in lens optical stabilisation provides approximately 2.5 stops of shake reduction to hold your framing steady even at the cameras tele-photo zoom range.
