The Aputure Light Storm LS 300X V-Mount LED Light Kit is the first bi-coloured Bowens mount light fixture that integrates mixed variable-white lighting with optical lens modifiers. It delivers a cohesive point-source with the colour-blending optical element in front of its LED light source. The combination of this new technology, along with the Aputure ecosystem, allows you to achieve unprecedented flexibility from a single fixture

Enhanced Output

The light fixture utilises the Fresnel 2X and Spotlight Mount and delivers an incredible output of 56,000 lux at 1 meter. Including CCT control in addition to soft light modifiers like the Light Dome II, allows you to diffuse your light without worrying and achieve extreme lighting precision to match any shooting environment.

Flexible Bi-Colour Range & Reliable Colour Rendering

The LS 300X features an expanded CCT range of 2700K-6500K with the ability to fine-tune your CCT in +/- 50K increments which delivers light that is warmer than typical tungsten fixtures, and cooler than conventional daylight (D55). It also offers an accurate colour reproduction with CRI and TLCI scores of 96+, SSI score of up to 85, and a D55 SSI score of up to 74.

Robust Design and Passive Cooling System

The LS 300X inherits a similar control box design and sleek lamp head design from the Aputure 300d II. It delivers a completely silent unit by using a passive cooling system combining the power supply and control system into a single unit. Besides, it features a full 360-degree adjustable handbrake locking yoke.

Dual Output Modes

The light fixture offers two output modes including Max Output and Constant Output modes. In Max Output mode, the 300x will always maximize your output for your CCT and dimming level, with the highest output range being 4000K-5500K. The Constant Output mode allows you to adjust your CCT accurately while maintaining a consistent luminance level.

Creative Power Solution

The Aputure LS 300X runs by two batteries for full power. However, you are able to use the light with a single battery, up to half of its maximum output. It is recommended to use batteries which support 15A continuous discharge to power the light properly. Besides, the 300x’s control box precisely displays real-time expected remaining battery life allowing users to plan for any filmmaking scenarios.

Multiple Control Methods

The light is compatible with various control methods including built-in control wheels, Bluetooth Mesh Sidus Link App, 2.4G RF Remote and DMX512 which enables you to control all your lights’ settings from nearly anywhere on set and precisely fine-tune your lighting setup.

Built-in Effects

The 300x features 9 built-in lighting FX modes which open up new possibilities for accurate lighting control on your film sets. This includes Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Faulty Bulb, TV, Pulsing, Strobe, Explosion, and Fire modes with the ability to adjust colour temperature. In addition, the 300x’s capabilities will always continue to grow with firmware upgrades to both the fixture and the Sidus Link ecosystem in the future.

Bowens Mount

The Aputure Light Storm LS 300X LED Light Kit is compatible with the Bowens-S Mount allowing you to select from a wide range of soft lights and optical modifiers. With the Bowens Mount, whether you want a punchy hard light with crisp shadows or a pleasing soft light, you can flexibly change the quality of your light source in seconds.

The Sidus Mesh technology performs across the entire future Aputure product line allows you to control up to 100 fixtures from your smartphone or tablet. Sidus Link allows you to control every aspect of your light’s output, including luminance, CCT, Effects, and even Light Source pre-sets for fast-paced situations.
