The SD Dual Card Reader from Angelbird is built with a modular design that stacks neatly with their other card reader models. It is designed for the quick ingestion of SD, SDHC, and SDXC media and has native support for UHS-II and backwards compatibility for UHS-I. It uses a USB Type-C port with a 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 speed to connect to your host Windows, Mac, Linux, iPadOS, or Android system. Backward compatibility with older USB standards is available if your machine doesn't support USB 3.2 Gen 2. Additionally, this card reader can be immediately linked to Thunderbolt 3 ports because it uses the same interface as USB Type-C. Additional system connecting tools include a 19.7" USB Type-C to Type-C connector.

Angelbird's SD Dual Card Reader is bus powered, meaning it receives power directly from your system's host USB or Thunderbolt port, with no additional cables or power supplies required. The Solid Stack design allows for the modular stacking of multiple card readers, while the USB Type-C port features Solid Connect recessed connectivity, which helps to ensure stable, uninterrupted data transfers, as well as protection for your cable against wear and tear. Lastly, a built-in write-protect switches on each card slot help protect the content on your SD media from being accidentally erased.

So that the SD Dual Card Reader may be used with microSD media, a microSD to SD adapter is included. Also included is a USB Type-C to Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A adapter.
