Capture ultra-smooth, professional-looking video with the Zhiyun Crane M2 3-axis gimbal, that uses three motors to remove shake and bumps, allowing you to create cinematic camera movement. It supports up to 720g, making it perfect for action cameras, mobile phones and even lightweight mirrorless cameras. The M2 is packed with creative shooting modes like Vortex, POV, and even has a Go mode for filming quick moving subjects. A new mounting plate and locking roll axis make setup even easier than the previous models.

Capture Smooth, Super-stable, Professional Footage

Three powerful brushless motors provide strong and precise torque to counteract vibrations and other unexpected jolts when recording video while moving at the same time. This means you can walk around with the camera without worrying that your footage will be too shaky and bumpy to watch later.

Smaller Design with Improved Control

The handle on the M2 has been slimmed down, making it easier to take with you wherever you go. It packs down super compact and now has a thumb screw on the roll axis so you can secure the gimbal during transport without losing your balance settings. There is also a new locking latch on the pan axis for secure transport between locations.

New Camera Mount Plate

Attaching a camera or phone has never been easier, with the new design mounting plate and a quick release design so you can detach your camera by just pressing the lock button. The plate has a scale mark so you can easily record your adjustment settings as well as multiple mounting position options that allows it to work seamlessly with different size cameras.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Functionality

Built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections allows you to control the gimbal your Apple or Android smartphone with the Zhiyun App. The app lets you change the axis angles, switch operation modes, as well as allowing you to calibrate, and update the gimbal firmware.

Multiple Shooting Modes

The Crane-M2 features several modes to accommodate different shooting styles and scenarios.

Pan Following Mode

The default mode where the pan axis gently follows the movement of the gimbal while tilt and roll remain locked upright. This is ideal when following a subject that’s constantly changing direction. In this mode, you can use the joystick to adjust the tilt angle.

Pan and Tilt Following Mode

Roll axis is locked while tilt and pan axes rotate to follow the movement of the gimbal to allow better tracking of a moving subject. The joystick lets you adjusts the roll angle or alternatively it can be manually set.

POV Mode

In this mode the gimbal will follow your pan and tilt movements just like the pant and tilt following mode, but it will also follow any roll movements you make as well.

Vortex Mode

By switching the gimbal into vortex mode, you can capture incredible footage that spins around 360°, perfect for creating super creative looking shots that push the boundaries of traditional filmmaking.

Locking Mode

Pan, tilt, and roll are all locked, and the camera faces forward. In this mode, you can manually adjust the tilt of the gimbal with your hand.

Inverted Mode

The gimbal can be used upside-down position for shooting dramatic low-angle shots. Inverted mode can be operated along with any of the Lock and Follow modes.

Go Mode

Track fast moving subjects by switching into the Go mode, which increases the sensitivity of the gimbal’s motors for quick movement.

Selfie Mode

Triple press the gimbal’s mode button to activate the selfie mode, which spins your camera around 180° to face you, so you can shoot a selfie or vlog.

Quick Set-Up & Balance Adjustment

Thumbscrews on all sides offer tool-free camera mounting and balancing for easy set-up so you can spend more time shooting video. Camera balance adjustment is also made much easier by the scale markings and locating slots along the axes.

7 Hour Battery Life

Using a rechargeable built-in battery, the Crane M2 provides up to 7 hours of use and can be used to recharge your phone. You can also connect an external power bank to provide additional power to the gimbal when shooting for long periods off the grid.

1/4 Inch Mounting Ports and Included Tripod

The Zhiyun Crane M2 comes with a miniature tripod that attaches at the base of the gimbal with a 1/4-inch thread socket, this allows you to set up time-lapse and hyper-lapse shots. The gimbal also has a 1/4-inch socket on the side of the handle so you can mount LED lights, microphone or other accessories to take you filmmaking to the next level.
