Usual Delivery Arrangements
Please allow 3-5 business days for delivery to your address**. Some items, such as lenses and underwater housing, or items temporarily out of stock, may take longer to deliver. Please email us at email@example.com for urgent requests or to ascertain that items are in stock.
We take responsibility for insurance in transit (to your door). All freight sent is trackable. All orders must be signed for (please ensure you or your agent is at the delivery address to sign for your order). Any claims for insurance (e.g. damaged in transit, lost in transit) must be reported IMMEDIATELY to the freight company and DCW for assessment.

We only ship in Australia, to Australian residents. We do not ship overseas.
Pick Up Your Order at the Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney Store
You can also arrange to have your order sent to one of the DCW Camera Stores for personal collection, during shop opening hours. Check our current opening hours here. Photo ID is required for all pick ups. The warehouse will delete any freight charges on orders for pickup.

Freight on Orders for multiple items (3 or more cameras) or items that are bulky (some printers, scanners, backpacks, tripods and the like) will be charged at a higher rate if necessary to recover costs of delivery and insurance. We will contact you before processing your order if additional shipping costs are required.

What is your returns policy?
We generally do not refund, return or exchange an item once it has been purchased unless the product is faulty. Any decision to refund or exchange an item is at our discretion. Please contact us on 1300 365 220 to discuss. Here is more information.

Our shopping cart checkout facility is NOT an automated checkout. All orders are subject to verification whether or not the order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we will immediately issue a refund to your credit card. Confirmation of identity
Whether you order by phone or online, to deter identity and credit card fraud, we may contact you to confirm details or request proof of identity. All information will remain confidential. When you buy or pick-up from any of our retail stores in person, you will be required to provide photo ID when using your credit card/eftpos card. Please note when ordering online, IP addresses will be logged. If we determine that an order is an attempted fraud, your details will be reported to credit card authorities and the police station closest to the nominated delivery address for investigation.

Types of payment accepted
No surcharge for MasterCard or Visa. Amex cards incur a 2% surcharge on the total of your invoice. If you wish to pay by direct funds transfer, select this option when ordering online. Is it safe to use my credit card?
Protecting your credit card details is a top priority. Your details are downloaded to a secure server, ensuring that your credit and personal details remain private and protected. Digital Camera Warehouse does not use an automatic transaction processing system: for your protection, your name is matched to the delivery address, using third party information. You may receive a phone call or email requesting more information to confirm the details you have supplied us. Your credit card is charged only after we:
a) verify your details (security check) and
b) check that your camera is ready for despatch.
What happens if we are temporarily out of stock?
Unlike most online shops, we DO NOT charge credit cards upon receiving orders - they are authorised and only charged once a despatch date is set by us. This means that your card will usually be authorised and charged on the day of despatch. If delivery is unlikely to take place within 5 working days we will attempt to contact you and confirm that you wish to continue with your order.
The right to change prices and cancel orders without notice
We reserve the right to change prices without notice. Digital Camera Warehouse Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card. We will inform you as soon as possible of any changes in prices, or cancellation of orders.
Your information will only be used to process your order. We will not reveal your personal information to any external organisation except where necessary for the purpose of filling your order (e.g. financial institutions that issued your credit card and courier companies that deliver your order).
However, if any of the information you supply is found to be false or misleading, we will report this to the appropriate authorities for them to prosecute.
