The Fuji X100 is the ultimate high-end compact digital camera for professionals and advanced enthusiasts. Modelled on classic retro styling, its die-cast magnesium alloy body is solidly-built and ergonomically designed. Housed within is a 12.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with a high sensitivity range from ISO 200-6400 (expandable to include ISO100 and 12800) which combined with Fuji’s EXR processor produces exceptional high-resolution images across the sensitivity range. Combine this with a high quality fixed 23mm (35mm EFL) Fujinon lens with a maximum nine-bladed aperture of F/2.0 , this camera will produce very pleasing de-focused backgrounds, as well as deliver exceptional low-light performance. Built-in ND Filter - Equivalent to 3 f-stops, the ND filter in the Fine Pix X100 lens reduces the amount of light to 1/8.

Hybrid Viewfinder - Whether you're framing your shot through the sharply-defined, bright Optical Viewfinder (OVF), or the Electronic Viewfinder (EVF), your eye will not only see the subject and scene, but also a range of shooting data projected by an integrated high-definition 1,440,000 dot LCD panel.

Eye Sensor - When you bring the camera to your eye, the viewfinder can sense it and will switch automatically to viewfinder mode.

Diopter Adjustment - -2 to +1m diopter adjustment for eyeglass wearers.

2.8-inch 460,000 dot LCD monitor - provides a simple preview of the shooting data in addition to showing the same content as the electronic viewfinder.

Film Simulation Mode – Lets you choose from a range of simulated traditional film “looks” such as PROVIA, Velvia and Astia.

Expanded Dynamic Range - Dynamic range can be expanded to prevent “blackout” or “washout” of the subject in high contrast lighting and bring out the detail in shadow and highlights.

RAW Shooting - The default format is JPEG, but if you want to take the next shot in RAW, with just a touch of the RAW Button, you can switch to JPEG+RAW and capture the next scene in both.

Easy-to-use Controls – Aperture ring, shutter speed control and exposure compensation dial are all placed exactly where your fingers comfortably find them. As well AE/AF lock and assignable function button are in easy reach.

Image Quality Controls – fine-tune image quality with access to a range of colour and tone tweaks, select AdobeRGB or sRGB colour spaces, precise manual white balance settings, and adjust noise reduction with a choice of 5 levels of processing.

ISO200~6400 Sensitivity Setting Range - lets you expand the normal sensitivity range of ISO200~6400 to ISO100~12800, and by assigning this setting to the Fn Button, extended sensitivity is available at a touch of a button. Plus set auto ISO sensitivity for minimum shutter speeds.

49-point Selectable Autofocus - auto focus area is divided into a 49-point matrix (25 points in the case of OVF). Contrast detect AF accurately and swiftly recognizes the primary subject and brings it into crystal clear focus, and also lets you freely select the position of the AF frame.
