The Manfrotto Midi-36 (ML360) is a compact, versatile and powerful 36 LED light. It is ideal for mounting on HD DSLR’s, compact system cameras, enthusiast compact digital cameras or camcorders that have a standard ISO hot shoe. Ideally suited to cameras that have video functionality, the Midi-36 produces soft, daylight-balanced 5600k temperature light that is also great for stills photography. Moreover, it could be handy to assist focusing in low-light settings. It also features a dimmer control on the side of the unit, and a rear LED to illuminate your camera’s buttons and controls when shooting in the dark.

The light mounts to the camera via a double flash shoe universal attachment and can be affixed in vertical or horizontal position. A shoe mount on the side allows the attachment of an optional Pocket-12 (ML120) light to supplement the output of the unit. The Midi-36 also has a standard tripod mount underneath so it can be attached to a tripod or any other type of mounting with a standard 1/4 –inch male thread. It is powered by 4 x AAA batteries (Lithium gives 1.5 hours of usage; alkaline allows approx. 1 hour of usage; NiMH rechargeable batteries deliver approx. ½ hour).
