Nikkor Lens AF-S DX Micro 40mm f/2.8G

The Nikkor AF-S DX Micro 40mm f/2.8G is a large aperture macro lens designed for use with Nikon DX DSLR camera bodies with an APS-C crop sensor. It enables extreme close-up shooting and a life-size 1:1 reproduction with attractive blur characteristics that are only possible with a macro lens. It is equipped with a Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for very quiet AF (autofocus) and two focus modes: M/A (autofocus with manual override) and M (manual). Its compact size and light weight make it a very portable lens.
