Extended Three Year Warranty on Cameras
All cameras on this site come with standard manufacturers warranty of 12 months. PROTECT your INVESTMENT! You can extend the standard warranty period by 1, 2, 3 or 4 extra years by purchasing extended warranty.
If you have purchased equipment after the 1st of April 2012 and now wish to extend your warranty: Please call us on 1300 365 220 within 12 months of your invoice date. Alternatively you can come into one of our stores. We only provide extended warranty coverage on cameras, lenses, pro printers and binoculars.
Your warranty certificate will be emailed or posted to you separately; dependent on the details you supplied us. You should receive your warranty card within 6 weeks of your purchase.
For warranties on cameras over $3000 please call us for a quote.
Extended Warranty is an extension of the manufacturer’s normal warranty. Depending on the period chosen, it offers 1, 2, 3 or 4 extra years warranty coverage. If your equipment does not function properly during the warranty period due to defects in material or workmanship your equipment will be repaired.
This warranty covers all parts and labour on your digital camera for one year from the end of the manufacturers standard warranty. The equipment will be guaranteed to operate properly according to manufacturer’s specifications or we shall repair your equipment to operate properly at no charge to you.
Extended warranty is valid for a Digital Still, Digital Video or Digital SLR + 1 lens.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY:
This warranty does NOT apply if it is shown that the defect or malfunction was caused by:
- Misuse and abuse
- Alterations and modifications
- Damage as a result of accident, liquid, grit, impact or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual of operations
- Removable batteries and damage caused by leakage of those batteries
Accessories that are NOT covered under the terms of the warranty include flashes, batteries, power adapter, digital media, software, LCD, lenses and additional accessories, other expenses or consequential damages.
If you should require any service or repair under your warranty plan, it must be delivered post paid and insured with your:
- Warranty registration number (serial number)
- Owner’s name,
- Dated proof of purchase and
- Description of the difficulties encountered
Warranty service will NOT be provided without dated proof of purchase.
Should you need to return the equipment you are responsible any loss or damage of equipment while in transport. You may, at your option, choose to insure equipment for loss or damage with the carrier of your choice.
