Sanyo Xacti VPC-SH1 High Definition SD Card Dual Camera – Video + Photo
With a stylish, slim and compact body the Sanyo Xacti VPC-SH1 shoots Full HD video or 10 megapixel still photos so you’ll only ever need to take one camera with you – and with the SH1 you can even take photos whilst simultaneously shooting video. To further improve ergonomics and usability a second set of recording buttons for photo and video is provided on the upper front part of the chassis making it easier to maintain a comfortable shooting posture. The SH1 also incorporates a 35mm wide angle lens so you can capture groups of people or shoot in tight interiors and still get everything in the frame. And with 30x optical zoom you can capture distant subjects. The camera also features Face Detection with Face Chaser, high speed video shooting up to 600 frames per second for ultra-slow playback, built-in stereo microphone with Sound Zoom, and an easy-to-view 2.7” Wide LCD Screen. As well the SH1 boasts high-capacity SDXC* memory card and Eye-fi wireless card support, simple in-camera editing, and easy upload to video sharing sites such as YouTube. RRP $499. * We recommend using Class 4 or higher memory cards for HD video recording. SDHC Memory Cards and SDXC Memory Cards can be used only in equipment that is compatible with their respective formats. If the computer being used does not support SDXC Memory Cards, a message prompting you to format may appear. (Doing so will cause recorded images to be erased so do not choose to format.) | What are the features and how will they benefit you? | SDHC/SDXC memory card recording –Record video or stills to SD/SDHC* and now extra capacity, high speed 64GB SDXC* memory cards for complete flexibility and easy transfer of your video footage. 8 Megapixel Still Photo Capture – Now carry only one camera - takes 8 megapixel still photo images, even whilst shooting video. Digital Image Stabiliser – digitally compensates for vibration and hand-held movement for smoother, less jumpy images. In still photo mode the camera quickly shoots 2 images and automatically combines them to create one sharp image – helps to reduce both camera shake and image “noise” or grain. Double Sub REC Buttons - To further improve ergonomics and usability a second set of recording buttons for photo and video is provided on the upper front part of the chassis making it easier to maintain a comfortable shooting posture. Face Detection/Face Chaser – detects human faces (up to 12) and automatically adjusts camera for optimal focus and exposure for both video and stills. Even if the faces move, the SH1 can follow them and adjust the focus and exposure. The Face Chaser function has been developed so that it can even follow faces from a side-on angle High Speed Video Shooting/Slow Motion Playback - enjoy high-speed shooting at up to 600 fps. Kids, pets, or sports scenes that are usually too fast to catch can be captured and viewed in slow motion. Slow-motion playback is also great for checking your form at your favourite sport. High Speed Sequential Shooting – High speed still image shooting up to 8 frames per second at full resolution (up to 16 shots) - great for freezing the action when shooting sports, kids or animals for example. 3 Sound Zoom Modes - For clearly recorded audio that matches a given shooting situation, the Xacti SH1 offers three new microphone modes: Wide, Gun and Zoom Combination. Now when you zoom up close to your subject, the SH1 can minimize unnecessary ambient sounds and focus mainly on recording your subject’s voice Simple Mode - Settings on the Xacti SH1 are easy to understand, so even beginners can enjoy shooting. In Simple mode, only the most basic elements are displayed on the LCD monitor. Target Colour - The Xacti SH1 tracks and focuses on moving subjects, such as children or pets, by detecting their colours. Even if you close the LCD panel temporarily, tracking will resume when you start shooting again. Digital Filters – includes monochrome, sepia, as well as a cosmetic mode that enhances and smooths skin tones. Manual Mode – Adjust aperture and shutter speed settings for greater control and creativity. Super Macro – In this mode you can take amazing close-ups as near as 1cm away from your subject. HDMI output - makes connecting the CS-1 to a Digital TV or DVD Recorder a Breeze (requires optional mini HDMI cable). Quick Start Up – Because the camera records onto a solid-state SD memory card—rather than HDD or DVD media with moving parts—you can start shooting straightaway after opening the monitor. Windows 7 Support - support for the Xacti SH1’s video format makes it easier than ever to play your videos on a computer. iFrame Support - iFrame is a next-generation video format designed to simplify and speed up the process of importing, editing, and sharing your videos. Eye-Fi Link - supports Eye-Fi cards (sold separately), which let you transfer images to your computer over a wireless network. Easy YouTube Upload - The Xacti SH1 makes it extremely easy to upload your videos to YouTube as well as post videos to blogs and enter video contests. |
