The Pentax X90 incorporates the ideal combination of a high-magnification 26x optical zoom lens with 26mm wide-angle and outstanding operability. Designed to be compact and lightweight, it features an ergonomic design with exceptional holding comfort. Sporting a 12.1 megapixel sensor, Triple Shake Reduction image stabilisation and high speed continuous shooting up to 11 frames per second the X90 will handle a wide range of photographic situations. The X90 also features a 2.7” LCD screen plus electronic viewfinder, auto picture mode and face detection for simple operation, 720p HD movies, and now with a high-capacity battery that last 50% longer than the previous model. Movie Feature – captures video with audio up to HD 1280 x 720p resolution at 30 frames per second. It features Movie Shake Reduction and the maximum recording time is up to 2gb file size. Triple Image Stabilisation – CCD shift optical stabilisation plus Digital Shake Reduction help to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands, subject movement or when shooting in low-light conditions. Also important at full zoom where a small movement of the hand can cause a lot of movement at the other end. Movie Shake Reduction helps stabilise handheld video footage. Auto-Tracking AF - maintains constant focus on moving subjects – great for sports, kids, pets.
Digital Filters - to add personal touches for creative expression the X90 incorporates creative digital filters including Toy Camera, Retro, Soft, Extract Color, and Color Emphasis in addition to the conventional Black & White, Sepia and Color filters.
D-Range - prevents whitewashed (overexposed) and blacked-out (underexposed) areas in the image
Panorama And Digital Wide Modes - compose unique, eye-catching panoramic and wide images. 2.7” LCD plus Electronic Viewfinder – 230,000-dot LCD with Anti-Reflection coating makes it easier to see your images in daylight. Or use the electronic viewfinder when faced with strong backlight or to improve grip for greater camera stability. Also includes diopter for adjustment for different eyesight.
