The Ricoh CX-3 incorporates a 10 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor combined with the same noise reduction processing used in the GR Digital III to reproduce fine details, smooth tonality and vibrant colours, even when shooting at high sensitivity settings in low-light. The 10.7x optical zoom lens with 28mm wide-angle delivers powerful telephoto shots as well as wide-angle shooting of both expansive landscapes and close-up scenes. Scene Auto mode makes using the camera simple as it automatically selects the appropriate scene mode, and a new Pets Mode that detects, focuses and sets the correct exposure for cat faces. The CX3 also features super-fast continuous shooting speeds of 5 frames per second at full resolution and up to 120 fps at reduced resolution. It also sports a beautiful high resolution 3” 920K LCD screen all in a slim and attractive body, as well as capturing beautiful 720p HD video. Movie Feature – captures video with audio up to 1280x720p resolution at 30 frames per second. Maximum recording length is up to 29 minutes or 4gb file size, whichever occurs first.
