Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH1 Digital Camera - 12.1 Megapixel
         .gif)
NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH1 is a compact 12 megapixel digital camera offering simple operation with its Advanced Intelligent Auto Mode. With Panasonic’s Intelligent Auto the camera itself automatically adjusts for the ideal settings, even when conditions change, meaning you don’t have to fiddle around in menus to get the best shots. And MEGA O.I.S Optical Image Stabilisation plus Intelligent ISO ensures your shots are crisp and blur-free whether you’re shooting at full zoom, in low-light, or capturing moving subjects. The Lumix DMC-FH1 also boasts a 5x optical zoom lens that can capture landscapes, group scenes or difficult interior shots with its 28mm wide-angle setting; or zoom out to capture distant subjects up close. To top it off the FH1 features 720p High Definition video recording, and is also compatible with the new generation of high-capacity SDXC* memory cards so you’ll have plenty of space to store your HD videos and high resolution still photos.
Movie Feature – captures High Definition video with audio 16:9 aspect ratio up to 1280 x 720p resolution at 30 frames per second. Easily upload HD videos to YouTubeTM using the supplied PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5.0 software. The length of recording time depends on the capacity of the SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card*. (Up to the equivalent of 2 GB per video recording.)
* We recommend using Class 6 or higher memory cards for HD video recording.
SDHC Memory Cards and SDXC Memory Cards can be used only in equipment that is compatible with their respective formats. If the computer being used does not support SDXC Memory Cards, a message prompting you to format may appear. (Doing so will cause recorded images to be erased so do not choose to format.) If the card is not recognized, please refer to the below support site. http://panasonic.net/avc/sdcard/information/SDXC.html

What are the features and how will they benefit you? |
|
Dual Image Stabilisation – Mega O.I.S. optical and digital technology works together to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands, subject movement, or when shooting in low-light conditions - important at full zoom where a small movement of the hand can cause a lot of movement at the other end.
Lumix DC VARIO 28mm Wide-Angle 5x Optical Zoom Lens – cover a wide range of shooting situations from wide-angle to capture more in your image, to telephoto where you can zoom up close to distant objects.
2.7” LCD Screen – Features automatic brightness adjustment and anti-reflective coating for better viewing in bright sunlight
iA (Intelligent Auto) – Automatically adjusts your camera for a range of different shooting situations and includes such features as face detection, intelligent scene selection, intelligent ISO, motion detection, and Mega O.I.S. image stabilisation - get great shots without having to fiddle around with menus, modes etc.
Face Detection AF/AE - detects faces (up to 15) and automatically optimizes the focus and exposure settings. It prevents blurry faces that happen when the camera focuses on something in front of or behind the subject, and keeps faces from appearing dark when shooting indoors or against a light source.
Sonic Speed AF - has a maximum speed of approx. 0.35 second for auto focusing. You can quickly get moving subjects in focus, such as when you're shooting sports scenes.
Fast Start Up - ultra high-speed start-ups of approx. 1.01 seconds.
Less Shutter Lag - The shutter release time lag is as short as approx. 0.007 second, making it easy to capture sudden, spur-of-the-moment photo opportunities.
Auto Backlight Compensation - When there is strong backlighting, the background appears nice and bright, but the subject is dark. This function detects backlight conditions and compensates for it automatically.
Extended Battery Life – expect to get around 310 shots from the supplied rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery.
Unlimited Consecutive Shooting - lets you snap off consecutive shots at approx. 1.8 frames per second until the memory card is full. |
