The Sigma DP2 is a unique compact digital camera that incorporates a D-SLR- sized 14 megapixel Foveon X3 sensor, coupled with the improved TRUE II image processor for spectacular image quality and improved performance. It is equipped with a 24.2mm f/2.8 (41mm equivalent focal length in 35mm) lens that has been exclusively designed for the DP2 that features two high refractive index glass elements, and two moulded glass aspherical lenses that provide superior image quality and allow for the compact construction. And the combination of an SLR-sized image sensor and large aperture of F2.8 provide natural shallow depth-of-field and an attractive bokeh effect. The Sigma DP2 also features RAW image format, three metering modes and four exposure modes, 9-point AF area selection, Manual Focus with display magnification for precise focusing, 7 colour modes, and a hotshoe for mounting an external flashgun. Movie Feature – captures video with audio up to 320 x 240 resolution at 30 frames per second. You will fit approximately 30 mins of video on a 1gb SD card. What's in the box?
