The new Olympus Zuiko Digital 25mm f2.8 standard lens features an ultra-slim (pancake) design profile and weighs just an astonishing 95g. Born of Olympus' leading digital optical know-how, its optical design incorporates a special double-sided aspherical lens element that results in a compactness never before seen in a digital-specific interchangeable lens design. A seven-bladed circular aperture diaphragm ensures that defocused/out-of-focus areas and highlights in images are rendered pleasingly smooth even at smaller than wide open apertures. Superb Olympus multi-coating ensures that flare and ghosting are kept well controlled.
