The 7.2 megapixel DSCW110 features innovative Smile Shutter technology which photographs smiles as they happen. Built to impress, this model boasts a 4x optical zoom lens for high quality close-ups. In addition, it has Face Detection technology that detects up to eight faces and optimises focus, exposure, and colour for accurate, natural photos of family and friends. RRP $199. Optical Image Stabilisation – works to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands - important at full zoom where a small movement of the hand can cause a lot of movement at the other end.
Face Detection - focuses on faces rather than other picture elements that might be in the foreground or background.
Smile Shutter – in this mode, press the shutter button fully down; the camera will detect when somebody in the frame smiles, and take a picture.
High ISO Sensitivity (ISO 3200) - this will help you take better photos in low-lighting.
Clear Raw Noise Reduction – reduces image “noise” that may appear due to increased light sensitivity.
