The slim and stylish 14.1 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX75 is an easy-to-use digital camera sporting a Leica 5x optical zoom lens with 24mm ultra wide angle for fitting more in the frame and a large f/2.2 aperture for exceptional low-light operation. The FX75 features a large 3.0” Touch Screen LCD with full touch control and easy viewing for both shooting and playback. You can select the focus point by touching your subject on the screen as well as releasing the shutter, and its new Motion Deblur mode means even more keepers. Also included in the camera’s Intelligent Auto feature set is POWER O.I.S. Optical Image Stabilisation, Intelligent Scene Recognition, AF Tracking, Face Detection with Face Recognition. Sonic Speed AF (Auto Focus) combined with quick start up means you will be able to make the most of fleeting photo opportunities. Expect to get around 360 shots per charge with the supplied Lithium-ion battery. Movie Feature – captures High Definition video in AVCHD Lite format up to 1280 x 720p resolution at 30 frames per second. Basic in-camera video editing is possible. Intelligent Auto functions during video recording as well as Touch AF Tracking that automatically tracks the subject as it moves and adjusts focus accordingly. 5x optical zoom functions during video recording. The length of recording time depends on the capacity of the SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card*. * We recommend using Class 4 or higher memory cards for HD video recording. SDHC Memory Cards and SDXC Memory Cards can be used only in equipment that is compatible with their respective formats. Dual Image Stabilisation – Power O.I.S. optical and digital technology works together to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands, subject movement, or when shooting in low-light conditions - important at full zoom where a small movement of the hand can cause a lot of movement at the other end. Motion Deblur Mode- automatically adjusts ISO sensitivity and shutter speed for even greater prevention of blur due to subject movement. Leica 24mm f/2.2 Ultra Wide-Angle 5x Optical Zoom Lens – cover a huge range of shooting situations from ultra wide-angle to capture more in your image - such as sweeping landscapes, tight interior shots and group shots - to telephoto where you can zoom up close to distant objects. Large f/2.2 aperture allows more light in for better low-light performance. iA (Intelligent Auto) – Automatically adjusts your camera for a range of different shooting situations and includes such features as face detection, intelligent scene selection, intelligent ISO, motion detection, and Power O.I.S. image stabilisation - get great shots without having to fiddle around with menus, modes etc. Intelligent Scene Selector – automatically sets the camera to the correct scene mode for the shooting conditions. Face Detection AF/AE with Face Recognition - detects (up to 15) and recognizes (up to 6) faces and automatically optimizes the focus and exposure settings. It prevents blurry faces that happen when the camera focuses on something in front of or behind the subject, and keeps faces from appearing dark when shooting indoors or against a light source. Venus Engine HD II – advanced noise reduction and higher processing speeds via its twin CPUs. 3.0” LCD Touch Screen – Large touch screen with wide viewing angle, automatic brightness adjustment and anti-reflective coating. Touch control allows you to select auto focus point and release shutter, AF tracking, as well as easy access to menus and image playback. Sonic Speed AF - You can quickly get moving subjects in focus, such as when you're shooting sports, kids, pets etc.. Cosmetic Mode - allows you to take portraits with various skin colours (soft skin, natural skin, summer look) and degree of transparency of skin detail (low, standard, high) - great for defocusing wrinkles and blemishes for a smoother look. Touch AF Tracking/Subject Detection - Once you focus on your subject by selecting it on the touch screen , the AF Tracking automatically tracks it until you press the shutter, keeping moving subjects in focus – great for kids, pets, sports etc. (also functions in video mode). Wind Cut Function – helps to reduce noise when recording video in windy conditions. Video Divide – allows you to do basic in-camera video editing. Cut Animation – allows you to save a still image from a video file. Fast Start Up - ultra high-speed start-ups of approx. 1.1 seconds. Less Shutter Lag - The shutter release time lag is as short as approx. 0.005 seconds, making it easy to capture sudden, spur-of-the-moment photo opportunities. MEGA Burst Consecutive Shooting - lets you snap off consecutive shots at approx. 1.8 frames per second at full resolution. Up to 10 frames per second at 3MP.
