The Manfrotto 494RC2 is a small and lightweight mini ball head made from diecast aluminium with a total load capacity of 4kg. Suited to smaller cameras, the 494 allows smooth 360o pan and +/- 90o tilt movement, and locks away in any position. It features a completely new friction control that allows the photographer a safer and more precise movement of the camera. Its clever repositionable locking lever is ergonomically designed for comfort and ease-of-use. The 494RC2’s quick release plate, includes an additional safety system that avoids accidental detaching of the camera from the head.
